An angler fishing in the waters near Carrabelle, Florida caught a tarpon that weighed in at an incredible 363 pounds, setting a new state record.

The monstrous tarpon took nearly two hours to reel in and required the help of two other anglers to finally bring it aboard the boat. The fish measured 8 feet, 5 inches in length and is now the largest tarpon ever caught in Florida waters.

The previous state record was a 352-pound tarpon caught near Steinhatchee in 2008.
